Hockey
Today Will from Canterbury Hockey came to school and every home class had a hockey lesson. He showed us how to hold the hockey stick correctly and we practised dribbling a ball with the hockey stick. We have lots more lessons to come in the coming weeks.

Kia Ora Team Raupo, My name is Asfan. I am a Year 6 here at Owairaka Primary School, Auckland. I like how you guys are playing Hockey and having fun with it. I also like how you guys are following your learning and doing whatever comes in front of you. I also like your hard work on it. How long did it take you all to practice to be good on it. It must have been a hard challenge for you students to play on a windy day. I want to ask you a question about who is the guy who invented gravity and say me how did he got the idea.

I think doing hockey is a good sport because it moves your legs and your whole body around. Why are you all wearing red hats and red shirts? Are you guys in a team?
